Azura Ramsay is an NYC-based dancer, educator, and arts administrator. She began her formal dance training in Maryland at Baltimore School for the Arts before moving to New York City to pursue dance professionally. She has a BFA in modern dance from Marymount Manhattan College and is currently working towards her master’s in library and information science at Queens College. Before working with Renversons, Azura was the program coordinator for an NYC arts-in-education nonprofit, where she also taught weekly dance classes in their afterschool programs. She is excited to share her nonprofit and dance experience with the Renversons community.
Outside of the dance community, Azura is an avid pilates instructor and practitioner in the Astoria, Queens area, as well as a contributor to the guest experience team at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
